IT'S DANCE GEAR TIME OF YEAR~!!!!! WE ARE ORDERING T-SHIRTS, HOODED SWEATSHIRTS, ZIP SWEATSHIRTS, SHORTS, PANTS AND BAGS! THEY WILL BE BLACK WITH METALLIC SILVER PRINT. THEY WILL BE READY FOR CHRISTMAS DELIVERY! ORDER FORMS ARE IN THE OFFICE. DEADLINE IS 10/30/13

This year's Halloween parties will be as follows.. Thursday Oct. 24th Monday Oct. 28th Tues. Oct 29th Wed. Oct 30th The kids are to dress in their Halloween costumes and bring a treat for all the kids in their classes. A list will be posted closer to Halloween with the number of treats you will need per class. There is NO class on Thursday Oct. 31st, Halloween!

Open house and fall registration will take place on Sat. Aug. 17th from 11am-3pm....if you are a returning student you will receive a call Saturday or shortly after, there is no need to attend the open house, unless you are picking up your recital video.  You can also inbox me on FB which classes you are interested in.

We have picked a Charity for this year...... Open Books, Binding Families. This is a literacy project targeting children and families under the care of West. County Children's Bureau. The goal of the projest is to introduce children to books and provide parent (s) with ideas on fostering literacy in their families with little effort. Children will be given a book bag and the books, free of charge, to take home in limited numbers. Open books, Binding Families is a project of the West. County Children's Bureau Advisory Board. Students from St. Vincent College will assist in setting up and maintaining it under the direction of Dr. Veronica Ent. People attending recital are asked to bring a book to donate to the program...those donating books will receive a chance to win a special prize. IF YOU WISH TO HELP OUT BY DONATING, PLEASE CONTACT SUSAN OR THE OFFICE. THANK YOU!

Costumes are starting to arrive....your costume balance must be paid in full and monthly tuitition up to date before you can take any costumes home!!

We are having class tongiht Tues. Feb. 5th,  But please call right before you leave your home. The weather can change quickly.

Fundraising tickets are being handed our the week of Feb 4th. Please return all unsold tics asap so they can be resold.  This means we are on the search for a local charity...if you have a local charity you would like to suggest, please talk to Susan.

With the Flu that is spreading and seems to be hitting so many, The Dance Co. is taking precautions to help prevent any spread of unwanted germs by spraying down common areas with germ killing sprays, wiping down bars after classes and having children use antibacterial hand gel. If your child is not feeling well, please do not send them to class. Not only would this help the others in their class, but also the other family members including siblings including infants and elderly that might be also be here. Hopefully by all of us continuing to do whatever we can to help prevent this sickness, less Dance Co. members and their families will be affected.

When bad weather is predicted for our area, please call the studio @724-838-7570 , check our Facebook page, the blog sydancecompany.blogspot.com , or check WTAE for class cancelations. Checking after 2:00pm is advised.   You will not be notified personally.

If your child's group was chosen to perform in Disney, a meeting with all the information you will need will take place on Mon. Jan. 7th, 2013 at 7:15pm.
