2016 SUMMER INTENSIVES
Do you miss dance already? Well, you're in luck. SYDC is holding summer intensives for ages 5 and up. Your dancer will take a class or a series of classes (probably lasting a bit longer than their normal class) where a specific style, technique or skill will be focused on. Intensives may also include a choreography component, so that the class has a chance to apply those honed skills in a taught dance. It is recommended that dancer's wear fitted dance or athletic clothing. Dancers taking technique are advised (but not required) to wear a leotard. Dancers participating in class longer than 1 hour should bring water with them to class. We recommend that interested dancers sign up, but drop-ins are welcome. IT'S SHOWTIME!
If you are in opening number....you must report for rehearsal at 4pm, Thursday. If you are not in opening number, your rehearsal starts at 5pm. Lobby doors open at 5pm on Friday and auditorium doors at 6pm. Remember your donation items for that special prize!
Ticket sale
Reminder tonight... Thursday June 16, 6:30-7:30 is your last night to purchase tickets before the show. It is also the last night to use your voucher and redeem your free and discounted tickets.

VERY IMPROTANT REMINDERS...Recital t-shirt orders are due today!! Recital tickets go on sale thie SATURDAY JUNE 4 @ 9:30-11:30. You balance except your June payment must be paid in full to pick up your voucher, if you helped sale fundraising tickets. VOUCHERS are in the office!! Recital ticket sales
Instead of lining up early the night of the recital to try to get the best seats in the house, we will hold a ticket presale on Saturday , June 04 , from 9:30am-11:30am. Here’s how it works: ... Ticket sales begin at 9:30am sharp. You may line up outside the studio as early as you’d like. If you participated in the Spring Fling ticket fundraiser, tickets will cost $8 each. If not, your tickets will cost $10 each. When it’s your turn to purchase tickets, you will be presented with a layout of seats still available in the auditorium. You will then choose the seats you want to purchase, and we will block off those seats. You must pay for your tickets at this time – NO EXCEPTIONS! So don’t forget your checkbook or cash. If you participated in the spring raffle ticket sale, your family will receive one free ticket. If you want your dancer(s) to sit near you, tell us that when you purchase your tickets so we can reserve those seats accordingly. There is no charge for dancers’ s

PROGRAM ADS!!!!
It's getting close!! If you are interested in placing an ad in the program book, ad forms are available in the office. The prices are as follows.. full page $150.00 half page $80.00 quarter page $40.00 When you view your proofs, (and you do not purchase the proofs,) you must write down the numbers off of the back of your pictures, on your ad form. If you have any questions, please ask Susan. Ads are due May 12th. So please prepare what you want your ad to say so once you view your pictures you can turn your ad in. Thanks

Easter break
Easter break is as follows... There is no regular scheduled classes starting Wednesday March 23-Monday March 28th. Classes resume on Tuesday the 29th. Tuesday classes have NO break they also have additional day of classes on Wednesday March 23rd. Your makeup will be your regular schedule times.
My parent/public service announcement.... Miss SUSAN won't be at dance this evening because my Logan tested positive for the flu. He is sicker then I have ever seen either of my children. So if your child has a sore throat, slight fever, body aches, belly issues or say they just do not feel good I ask you to please believe them ( we have all said oh your fine!) lol, we completely understand you keeping them home ( actually we encourage it). He has nine friends and his teacher at school that have it, so it is contagious. We want everyone heathy for the Easter bunny!
Fundraiser tickets!
Fundraising tickets are going out this week. If you are not here this week that gives you two weeks instead of three to sell. If you would like to make arrangements to pick them up GREAT!! We are at the studio Monday-Thursdays 3-8
Easter Break
Easter break will be Wednesday March 23-Monday March 28th. Tuesday classes have no break. This schedule may change if we have a snow day. Tuesday classes will have class on Wednesday March 23rd and Tuesday March 29th
