Do you miss dance already? Well, you're in luck. SYDC is holding summer intensives for ages 5 and up. Your dancer will take a class or a series of classes (probably lasting a bit longer than their normal class) where a specific style, technique or skill will be focused on. Intensives may also include a choreography component, so that the class has a chance to apply those honed skills in a taught dance. It is recommended that dancer's wear fitted dance or athletic clothing. Dancers taking technique are advised (but not required) to wear a leotard. Dancers participating in class longer than 1 hour should bring water with them to class. We recommend that interested dancers sign up, but drop-ins are welcome. Instead of lining up early the night of the recital to try to get the best seats in the house, we will hold a ticket presale on Saturday , June 04 , from 9:30am-11:30am. Here’s how it works: ... Ticket sales begin at 9:30am sharp. You may line up outside the studio as early as you’d like. If you participated in the Spring Fling ticket fundraiser, tickets will cost $8 each. If not, your tickets will cost $10 each. When it’s your turn to purchase tickets, you will be presented with a layout of seats still available in the auditorium. You will then choose the seats you want to purchase, and we will block off those seats. You must pay for your tickets at this time – NO EXCEPTIONS! So don’t forget your checkbook or cash. If you participated in the spring raffle ticket sale, your family will receive one free ticket. If you want your dancer(s) to sit near you, tell us that when you purchase your tickets so we can reserve those seats accordingly. There is no charge for dancers’ s...

It's getting close!! If you are interested in placing an ad in the program book, ad forms are available in the office. The prices are as follows.. full page $150.00 half page $80.00 quarter page $40.00 When you view your proofs, (and you do not purchase the proofs,) you must write down the numbers off of the back of your pictures, on your ad form. If you have any questions, please ask Susan. Ads are due May 12th. So please prepare what you want your ad to say so once you view your pictures you can turn your ad in. Thanks

My parent/public service announcement.... Miss SUSAN won't be at dance this evening because my Logan tested positive for the flu. He is sicker then I have ever seen either of my children. So if your child has a sore throat, slight fever, body aches, belly issues or say they just do not feel good I ask you to please believe them ( we have all said oh your fine!) lol, we completely understand you keeping them home ( actually we encourage it). He has nine friends and his teacher at school that have it, so it is contagious. We want everyone heathy for the Easter bunny!
